Citizen education: proposals of teaching materials which combine concepts of time and space in the classroom
Abstract
Some proposed pedagogical activities for teaching geography are reported in this article. In this context, the role of the teacher as a researcher is fundamental to establish adequate didactic adaptations in order to promote the reconstruction of the geographical science, combining concepts of space and time, in the classroom. The proposed materials are based on building urban space maquettes, organization of urban expansion maps and historical-spatial analysis of the municipal development.
