Abstract

This article aims to analyze the transnational and cultural institutional elements that interfered in the relations of four Mozambicans, who participated in a qualification program in the Federal Network of Education in Brazil. Semi-structured interviews were carried out to reach the research objective. It was noticed that the ethnic and racial prejudice of the Brazilians and the Mozambican perception stigmatized on the homosexuality represented cultural barriers between the countries. However, these situations did not prevent the exchange of technical and cultural experiences in Brazil.
