Nitrate concentration in the water table of Santo Anastácio city - MS

Abstract

The implication of basic sanitation conditions in the water table quality in the city of Anastácio – MS became evident through the detection by PINTO (1998) of the chemical compound nitrate in high concentration, that is accumulative and cancerigem, which constitutes one of the main pollutants in this water. During this survey was done the control of nitrate concentration in the water table of this city through tests accomplished in two distinct moments: october 1997 and 2000.
