Environmental Conditions, Fog Incidence and Accidents at São Paulo State Roads

Abstract

This paper shows the incidence of fog, its genesis and distribution in space and time as well as the reduct visibility. This facts are associated to accidents on São Paulo State roads, the inciding during the year, week and hours of day, also the different types of accidents on fog-days and the available time necessary for stop. Key words: Fog, car accidents, São Paulo Roads.
