Brazilian Agro-Industries and Strategies of Occupation of National Territory
Abstract
This paper analyses the different development strategies adopted by the three main national firms of the meat industry which target, the brazilian market team an industry situated in the west of Santa Catarina’s state. The study seeks to undestand the production system and the distribution process undertaken by these firms. In order to undestand their expansion efforts, the papers uses a theorethical framework based on a historical, geographical and economic analysis.
