Infinite: a reality apart Secondary Students
Abstract
In this research we tried to identify and characterize high student’s conceptions of infinity through the analyses of 829 questionnaires answered in 7 different schools. It was formulated the investigation question: “Is there any difference in school year and conceptions of infinity, between the high school students?” and we verified that some associated ideas with the infinity are best understood by the 12º class, but with the infinity cardinal’s correspondences there are no significance differences between the different school years, because it is a non intuitive concept.
