This paper presents and analyzes the main actions of the Research Group in the History of Education, Institutional Historical Collections and Gender (GPHEG) of the Graduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), campus Cuiabá, Brazil. The Group has endeavored to investigate and record educational history in the Midwest and North regions of the country to establish a dialogue with the history of women’s education and school institutions in these regions. This is a bibliographic and documentary research based on the productions of the group itself, including documental sources, academic productions, scientific papers, and website pages collected and used to create a physical and online archive. GPHEG has sought to triangulate the teaching, research, and extension interfaces based on themes proposed for investigations articulated with the national and international guidelines of graduate studies.
