Program for Education of Young Adults and Format as Procedure: report of experience on the role of the university extension PEJA/Araraquara

The report that is presented here focuses on an analysis of some aspects initially detected in the resumption of activities of the Program on Education for Youth and Adults (Peja), at the Campus of UNESP in Araraquara / SP. Accordingly, placing the importance of extramural activities for training licentiates face the serious problems affecting the quality of school and education in Brazil, particularly the Education of Youth and Adults, and considering that the face of this reality should be given from the perspective of training combined with the research, reflection that is presented here, seeks to present the profile of students who are interested in participating in the process of reorganization of the group of literacy teachers, the first steps in the process of training in classrooms and the events and views expressed by two scholarship girls of the stock PEJA on the activities for which came to be called to perform in front of a teacher performance classroom. Highlighting strengths and difficulties identified, the analysis undertaken by the participants reveal the value of the activities of extension, closely related to research and training, as well as give clues about factors that could enrich and enhance the initial training courses for graduates.Downloads
