The health promotion in school

The health is a subject constantly discussed and refined. Considered as a basic requirement for a full life is itself a subject of unique amplitude, which can and should be worked and discussed from the very start to the third age. Bearing in mind that "information and education are ways to stimulate interest and knowledge of the population on the relative subjects to the sanitary monitoring, and act as tools that facilitate the prevention of risks”, the National Agency of Sanitary Monitoring - ANVISA idealized the Education and Information Project. The project has like main concern to develop educational activities in schools for elementary and high school from the health issue, so as to contribute to the level of awareness of the citizens on the thematic health. Are also revealing the multiplying factor represented by the children and the contribution of the school and its social function. This article aims to present results obtained from studies of health promotion with elementary school students from public schools in the capital of Piauí.Downloads
