PROPOSTA METODOLÓGICA PARA CRIAÇÃO DE UM SISTEMA DE INFORMAÇÕES TURÍSTICAS GEO-REFERENCIADO, COM BASE NO ESTUDO DE CASO DO CENTRO DA CIDADE DE POÇOS DE CALDAS-MG

Abstract

The touristic GIS (SISTURGEO) includes the tourist supply from the central region of the Poços de Caldas city, and it allows alpha numerical and space consulting involving all levels of information or attributes of a database. The outline of the touristic supply has been developed based on the bibliographic analyzes, from that moment on, it has been elaborated the databases on the Access Software for the collecting field data. The SISTURGEO was built on a GIS platform using the SPRING software. The system architecture was elaborated based on the field and bibliographic data and it came up like this: urban maps, touristic supply and a map of symbols. The urban map is a themed one, constituted on the following information plans: squares, streets, draining net, and the main buildings which are reference in the central area of Poços de Caldas. The touristic supply category is cadastral and contains the touristic attractions, the support infra-structure, the touristic services and another services. The map of symbols is also cadastral and it has icons for the representation of the touristic attractions gathered as objects by themes.
