CONDITIONS OF URBAN AREA OF TOWN OF DAVID CANABARRO-RS
Abstract
This work is an analysis of the environmental changes arising from the urbanization of rural exodus, a consequence of the entry of soybeans in the city of David Canabarro in the state of Rio Grande do Sul To carry out this study it was necessary to know the most important elements indicators of environmental conditions. To raise this information was used a questionnaire which included variables related to family structure, namely the number of people per residence, the amount of sanitary facilities for housing, the water source, the destination of sewage from each house, the fate of water used in the bath and cleaning of the existence of springs or streams near the residence, likely problems with the sewer, referring to the separation of garbage and about possible problems with flooding. Also sought is the main rescue operations arising from the process of urban sprawl, especially those relating to the Arroyo of stones. Having raised such information, photos were used for the purpose of identifying the evolution of urban space in the township since their emancipation, a decision was made to the data analysis and presentation graphics system in order to facilitate understanding of them, yet were used official data on a comparison between them.
