Mingling features has evidenced in Gentileza Unit rocks of the Canindé Domain, Northern part of Sergipano Fold Belt, NE Brazil. The objective of this work was identify and characterize the mineralogy, the textural aspects and the mingling features present in the out crops situated along the SE-200 highway, nearby the Canindé de São Francisco city. The mingling features are the result of interaction of a mafic term (amphibolite - Gentileza Unit) and felsic (monzogranite/syenogranite - Boa Esperança Granite). The observed mingling features are pillow-like structures, filter-pressing and complex portion with felsic injections. Geochemical data suggest that the amphibolite protoliths mostly corresponds to basaltic andesites and andesites of calc-alkaline affinity. The amphibolite geochemical data are compatible with magmas generated in geotectonic environment of continental intraplate type, possibly represented by a continental rift, while the Boa Esperança Granite magma has generated in volcanic arc environment.
