Abstract
In the present work the distributions of Normal theoretical probability,
Log-Normal, Exponential, Gama and Weibull had been analyzed to estimate the annual maximum and minimum outflows for the river
Paraguay, using details from a fluviometric station in the city of Cáceres, state of Mato Grosso. The tests distribution free of Kolmogorov-
Smirnov and Chi-Square had been used to verify the tack of the estimated probabilities to the observed frequencies. The used series
involves annual maximum and minimum outflows of the years of 1966 the 2003, abstaining imperfections. Was verified mainly a good
adjustment of the maximum and minimum annual values of outflow to the distribution Gama and Weibull, respectively, by the test of
Kolmogorov-Smirnov.
Keywords: Forecast of outflow, test goodness of fit.
