Abstract

The subject of the present article is playing of the child and his/her relationship with the school education, discussed with base in the psychoanalytic theory. It had as objective discusses playing as an own language of the child and, therefore, essential for his/her development. Nowadays, the professionals of the education recognize playing as an activity that favors the learning and the child's development. However, the educational practice demonstrates that the creative dimension has not been explored of playing, that it is his/her essence. The associate to play to the child's education in the school it should make possible concrete spaces of creation and discovery, fundamental elements for the learning.
