Social representation of physical education by workers students of night teaching

The Physical Education in night teaching still has many gaps, so this research aimed to identify the social representations of Physical Education sustained by the students workers of this modality. This item was introduced, through semi-structured interviews, to 44 students of night teaching in the municipality of Belford Roxo and Rio de Janeiro. The analysis of the material discursive rhetoric indicated that students believe that it refers to: sports, entertainment and health and pointed his practice for two directions: the Physical Education or is to speak or to do. In conclusion, it was possible to seize evidence that social representations of physical education for these workers students condense in the metaphor medicine. This subject is the representation of body that appears as a deposit of energy, and is related to the field of representation of human development, gender, and from school.Downloads
