Energy: the useful tool of the alternative body culture

This article presents the different views of the oriental and western cultures regarding the body itself and the use of energy as a useful tool that unifies all the segments of complementary therapies, mainly, in the health field. The article also emphasizes which concepts they both have in common and their points of disagreement, scientific or not, by using a dynamic way which involves the idea of energy balance as a distinct and explonatory power for all the questions and doubts that the human beings may have towards changing attitudes, thoughts and social, caring and cultural behaviour.Downloads
